This motto defines our efforts to become even more employee-friendly. Supporting family life is important to us. In particular KIRCHHOFF Automotive encourages employees to optimally balance private and professional matters by means of a family-friendly personnel policy.
E-mail is stopped
KIRCHHOFF Automotive takes care that work stays in the office, that all parents can spend time with their families in the evening and do not have to think about their work: The feeling of a permanent availability is being stopped by technical barriers. Those prevent that employees receive e-mails from work during the weekend and their holidays, neither on their smartphone nor their PC.
Holidays mean recreation
As a family-owned company we also ensure that all employees are able to enjoy reliable and undisturbed times with their families. The holidays are planned and taken within each calendar year in order to assure recreation times with the family.
Finding the balance
All of these initiatives are part of the company-wide programme “Work-Life-Family-Balance”. With this we are bundling the compatibility of work and family and highlight that work and private life no longer exist in parallel universes but that both influence each other – and especially have to be balanced by a family-owned company.
KIRCHHOFF Culture Life
Experience, feel good, listen, participate!
With KIRCHHOFF Culture Life our Company has started a new cultural initiative which is supposed to contribute to a feeling of belonging for KIRCHHOFF Automotive staff; family members are also very welcome.
Aside from ongoing cultural initiatives and activities like cooking or a trip to the documenta in Kassel, special event afternoons are also held within KIRCHHOFF Culture Life. The initiative began in Germany in 2017 but also in other countries with KIRCHHOFF Automotive plants like Poland, Hungary and Portugal various events have taken place.
In addition to the promotion of internal sports activities and the sponsorship of local sports clubs in the area—basketball, ice hockey and soccer—we would also like to offer very special cultural events to our employees and their families.
