Point Hunting in Belgium

The PoLe Racing Team did not land on the podium this time around but with the fourth place in the class A6-Am, the Sauerland team achieved a decent and still satisfactory result at the second race of the European Championship in the strongly occupied International 24h-Series.

As early summer temperatures hit, Dr. Johannes Kichhoff (Iserlohn), Gustav Edelhoff and Max Edelhoff (Hemer) at the wheel of the Audi R8 LMS Evo, kept a cool head from the very first meter. Nine vehicles, almost all reinforced with at least one professional, fought for victory in the A6-Am class, which was intended for amateur teams. After 12 hours, the PoLe-Audi was waved off as sixth overall and fourth in the class. The trio circled the Ardennes roller coaster 242 times, which corresponds to a total distance of 1694.97 kilometers.
