Mechatronics Technician

Mechatronics technicians are all-rounders in modern industrial companies. The profession links the fields of mechanics, electronics and information technology. During your training you will first learn the basic skills of metal processing such as turning, milling, grinding and drilling. The course continues with learning content from the areas of control technology, pneumatics, hydraulics, CNC and, of course, installation technology.

Automation and Industry 4.0 play an increasingly important role. Mechatronics technicians make sure that modern machines and systems function smoothly. They are responsible for the installation, setup and maintenance of the systems. This also includes optimization work, cycle time optimization, programmable logic controllers, robot programming and other exciting tasks.
