Specialist for inventory logistics

"This profession offers much more than only stacking boxes and moving stillages from one side to the other as I am responsible for many commercial tasks. It is a job for responsible persons with organisational skills like me."

Marcel has already finished his apprenticeship as a Specialist for inventory logistics successfully and now represents the Dispatch Manager at our plant in Iserlohn whenever it is required.

"My working day always starts and ends in a different way: once in our warehouse, the other time in the office. As soon as a truck delivers new goods, I will pick up a forklift and then I am ready to go. The goods will have been hardly unpacked, when they are checked. At first they will be weighted: Is the weight correct? Further tests follow; and I verify the papers, check the raw material in the computer and print the labels with the corresponding material data.

When it becomes a little quieter in the warehouse and no further truck has to be unpacked there is enough time to do some paperwork. Are there differences or wrong entries? Are the customs documents for the next delivery abroad in good order? Whatever happens in the area, my team and I will help – a job for all occasions."
