About the plant

The beginnings of KIRCHHOFF Automotive in Gliwice date back to the year 2004, when a hall with an area of 3,800 m² was rented on the premises of Zakłady Mechaniczne Bumar. After the first successes of this small production plant, a decision was made to purchase a plot in the Katowice Special Economic Zone - Gliwice Subzone and further develop the plant in Gliwice. The factory, built from scratch, is developing dynamically. It currently occupies almost 50,000 m2 built on plots of almost 13 ha. Thanks to that, the plant has further investment potential.

The production plant in Gliwice specializes in the production of metal structural elements for the car body and chassis, producing subassemblies such as engine frames, dashboard carriers, underbodies, and bumpers. In addition to the traditional automotive processes such as stamping, welding, and cathodic dip coating, the plant applies the most modern technologies used in this industry, such as hot forming and laser welding. These processes enable the production of very light but very strong parts, which are important for both safety and environmental protection. The plant is characterized by a very high level of automation and robot-aided processes - it is equipped with more than 240 robots. The previous investment value of KIRCHHOFF Automotive in Gliwice exceeds 600 million PLN.
