Your Tasks

• Responsible for company PDP-Gate Structure (product development procedure) execution in new project management, project data improvement and maintenance in our CDB Database system • Assists to create and execute all project relative process documents, technical specifications and standard documents • Starts and controls the procurement process for bought-in-parts and early involvement material, responsible for creating the project timing and assures the investment plan to be reached • Support in sourcing and configuration/design of welding and assembly jigs • Evaluation of operating equipment and processes in case of a product or process changes • Responsibility for holding project meetings regularly, tracking open project issues, getting feedback, managing program timing, closing issues and maintains the project action plan • Coordination of customer specific deadlines in order to schedule pre-production series • Assists customer team for technical support for new business acquisition and for engineering changes negotiations • Travel as needed, approximately 35% Role of a Project Manager acc. to PDP: • Responsible for the management of a defined project regarding timing, budgets, costs • Approves and signs the relevant documents for the project within the given regulations • Controls the complete project budget, evaluating single deviations and redistributing budget within their project • Responsible for the program cost monitoring and operating the ECR ( Engineering Change request) to make an early improvement action possible • Delivers an early forecast of the coming Cash-Out and Cash-In for tools and jigs and gives regular updates • Responsible for project rating (red, yellow, green) • Takes care of the customer satisfaction / customer contact • Is authorized to instruct their interdisciplinary team within the project Right to escalate problems and discrepancies according to the rules

Your Profile

Work Experience · Over 5 years work experience in automotive industry or similar Skills (language, technical, computer etc.) · Experience in project management · Good communication skills as well as teamwork · Good knowledge in MS-Office · Fluent in spoken and written English Skills (language, technical, computer, etc.) • Use positive interpersonal skills to present, negotiate and build/maintain relationships • Ability to plan effectively and communicate in a manner consistent with the effective execution of the plan • Analyze and synthesizes information from a variety of sources to develop/recommend creative solutions or designs • Recognize and/or assess degrees of risk in plans and actions • Ability to deal with conflict • Ability to coach, lead and motivate team members • Possess excellent communications skills, both written and verbal Education • College Diploma or University Degree in Mechanical Engineering
