KIRCHHOFF Automotive in Dallas is one of seven plants that were instrumental in the introduction of the largest platform, in terms of volume, for General Motors. This Program comprises several pick-up trucks and SUVs (Chevrolet and GMC pick-up trucks, and Cadillac SUVs). Dallas produces Radiator Supports, Inner rails, Sill beams, Rear plenums, and panel assemblies from stampings supplied by other Kirchhoff Automotive plants. The parts are MIG welded, Spot welded, Projection welded, and use sealant and adhesive applications at this location.
