- Act as co-lead for the OT (Operational Technology) area within the global Digitalization Team, ensuring clear alignment with IT, Maintenance, and Production
- Coordinate and support NIS2 implementation and assessments, acting as interface between Corporate IT, the plants, and external auditors
- Define, harmonize, and document OT network and access standards, including VPN concepts, firewall segmentation, and remote-maintenance procedures
- Evaluate and mitigate cybersecurity risks in OT environments, in close collaboration with Corporate IT Security
- Support the secure integration of machines and systems into the company’s Industrial Data Platform, including connectivity middleware and visualization environments (e.g., Kepware, ThingWorx)
- Provide guidance for plant-level rollouts and ensure compliance with global connectivity and cybersecurity standards
- Prepare and maintain documentation and audit evidence for OT security measures
- Train and support local automation and maintenance teams on secure OT operation and incident-response practices
- Data-enablement interface: Contribute to the secure and standardized provisioning of OT data for analytics and AI use cases, ensuring that connectivity and data quality requirements are met
Ihr Profil
- Educational background in automation technology, industrial IT, or electrical engineering, or comparable qualification
- Minimum 3 years of experience in OT/IT integration, industrial networking, or cybersecurity
- Strong knowledge of network architectures (Layer 2/3, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls) and industrial communication protocols (OPC UA, Modbus, MQTT, Ethernet/IP).
- Familiarity with NIS2, ISO 27001, IEC 62443 or related cybersecurity frameworks.
- Experience with IoT gateways, SCADA/MES systems, and digital shopfloor solutions
- High analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate technical issues into actionable measures
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across IT, production, and external partners
- Independent, well-structured, and results-driven working style
- Excellent command of English; German is an advantage
