Quality Technician

Your tasks

  • Operates various test equipment and machines to verify reliability of parts as required, and maintains accurate quality records.
  • Maintains all documentation and/or paperwork relevant to day-to-day activities.
  • Reports any discrepancies on non-conformances to management.
  • Conducts and maintains documentation relating to:
  • Audit of First-Off inspection of processes in assigned area at the beginning of the shift.
  • Assists in implementing Statistical Process Controls (SPC) and maintains reports.
  • Performs random process inspections, receiving inspections, and dock audits as required.

Your profile

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in an automotive/manufacturing environment
  • Basic understanding of Statistical Process Control and IATF 16949/ISO14001 requirements
  • Knowledge of various testing methods (i.e. reliability testing, caliper, micrometer, etc.)
  • Familiar with various machines/equipment in the automotive industry
  • High School diploma or equivalent
