General information and security
When you access our website, information of a general nature is collected automatically. This information (server log files) includes the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your Internet service provider, and similar data. This is exclusively information that does not allow you to be identified in person. This information is technically necessary so that the content of the websites you have requested is displayed correctly and is mandatory when using the Internet. Purpose of data collection
The data entered shall be collected exclusively for the purpose of the application and processed only if you have given your consent to do this.
By giving further consent in the input screen, the application you have submitted can be saved and considered for other vacant positions in the Company.

If you apply for a position at one of our Group companies, your data will be transmitted to that company for this purpose.
If you apply for a position outside Germany, your data will be transmitted to the relevant country for this purpose.

Period for which the personal data is stored
Personal data is deleted in accordance with the applicable legal regulations. This does not apply if legal provisions prevent the deletion or if further storage is necessary for the purpose of providing evidence.
In the event of a negative decision, the data transmitted by you will be deleted six months after the end of the application process. If you have agreed to the storage of your documents beyond the application process, your data will be deleted 24 months after the end of the original application process.
If your application is followed by the conclusion of a contract, your data may be stored and used for the purpose of the usual organisational and administrative process, in accordance with the relevant legal regulations.
Legal basis of processing
If we obtain consent for certain processing operations, it is based on Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. If the processing of personal data is necessary for the performance of a contract, for example for the delivery of goods or for pre-contractual measures such as enquiries, this processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. If our Company is subject to a legal obligation that requires the processing of personal data, for example to fulfil tax obligations, the processing is based on Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR. If the processing of personal data is not based on any of the aforementioned legal bases, we process data to protect a legitimate interest of our Company (improvement in performance of business activities). We always make sure that this does not conflict with a legitimate interest of the data subject that outweighs our legitimate interest.
